Balmoral Triathlon Club 'King of the Mountain' 20km Cycling Time Trial Series 2009/2010

24/10/2009 9:40:57 PM

The 2009/2010 triathlon season cycling time trials have been completed. All three events were held in perfect conditions with club records being set in the final time trial of the season. The club had one of its biggest turnouts for cycling time trials this season which highlights the great culture we are all a part of now.

Event 1 of the 2009/2010 season Balmoral Triathlon Club 'King of the Mountain' 20km Cycling Time Trial Series was held today.

The cycling time trial is run over 5 laps of the main road at Centennial. Technically it is not 20km. Each lap (on the white line) is 3.87kms therefore making the time trial 19.35 kms. But we wont split hairs.

Overall podium paces were taken by Duncan Houston, Karl Hayes and Jason Popkowski for the men and Sophia Amor-Smith, Sarah Green and Lucy Skinner for the women.

A huge thank you to David Cottee and the crew at King of the Mountain Cyclery for their support and prizes.  Also Richard Logan, Joe Sprange and Bruce Thomas for helping out on the day.

If I have missed anything or anyone I apologise. Also if your name is incorrect in the results below send an email so we can correct it.
