(Hold on... is that a gold medal around Karl's neck?)
Sunday dawned and the heat from the previous day was a distant memory. Conditions where close to perfect with enough cloud cover to keep the sun off everyone and no wind until the end of the race with only the last couple of waves getting it on the bike leg. The sprint distance race started at 6:45 with the first wave of the olympic distance starting at 7:10.
